It's day two in Madrid, around dinner time. So far it has been tapas, beer and a lot of walking. Also a lot of European mullets. I've decided it's my favorite haircut. Our hotel is centrally located and Mardid is pretty easy to get around. I'll say the only problem so far is communication. Turns out I remember very little from Sr. Weibel’s Spanish III class 10 years ago. It's difficult to understand the language but we're managing just fine. The three main food groups seem to be bread, meat (ham and chorizo) and potatoes so we're eating good. Some pics are below. Enjoy. We're off to Barcelona tomorrow. Mmmmmm, that chorizo and taters looks yummy. Forget the absinthe, bring me back some sausage!
